Capacity Building Training Program

Problem we are solving: Lack of life skills, leadership, and vocational capabilities.

Solution: Training in life, livelihood, and leadership skills.

Impact: Empowered individuals and grassroots agents of change.

We believe that families are the fundamental group unit of society and the fundamental agent for sustainable social, economic, and cultural development. Families must be empowered to fulfil their numerous functions to eradicate poverty and ensure children's education. Readmore....

Child sponsorship

Problem we are solving: Limited access to quality education, healthcare, and mentorship for vulnerable children.

Solution: Sponsor-supported packages including school fees, health care, and spiritual nurturing.

Impact: Well-rounded children(spiritually, mentally, good citizen) equipped to transform their families and communities.

Pendeza Uganda supports highly vulnerable children accessing quality education. At a minimum of $50 per month, you can help the child's family and community reach self-sustainability and dignity.

The Pendeza Story

The Pendeza Uganda journey started most unexpectedly. There was a Child Survival Programme (under Compassion International) that supported expectant mothers and their children below the age of three years. Great as it was, still it could not meet all the needs of the families under it, and often, those who did not meet the conditions for being helped were left out of the program.Do not get us wrong, the program was already doing a good job, but even then, much more needed to be done. The trend of giving handouts and further making the women dependent on a handout needed to be broken because, many of them could not even afford to buy charcoal to cook the food delivered to them, or buy the necessary ingredients needed to prepare the meal.
